Serial Interfacing

If you are using RS-422 or RS-485, the first thing you will want to do is read their excellent RS-422/485 Application Note:

I have used their 3PXCC2B cards with great success.  This is a dual serial port ISA card.  Each port can be setup as RS-232, or RS-422, or RS-485.

One thing I love about B&B is that they provide full manuals and schematics on-line, so you can examine the details before you buy.
